Holiday cottages in Alt Empordà region

We spent the weekend of September 18 to 20, 2026. The house is spectacular and the cleanliness is top-notch. The barbecue and paella area is great and very well prepared to enjoy it. The pool area is spectacular and at night you can enjoy luminous lights that are spectacular. The kitchen has practically everything you might need, although we would recommend adding some extra kitchen towels, especially considering the capacity of the house; we were 27 people and they were a bit short. Since we went in September, we didn't get too hot and, in addition, the house has standing fans in the different rooms. Even so, with the heat waves we have been having lately, we think it would be great to have air conditioning. Personally, in the months of June, July or August I would not book it for this reason. The only negative point was the hot water. Being so many, it ran out and they had to restart the system remotely. It took quite a while to heat up again and, when it started to come out again, it was not very hot and the feeling was cold. We do not know what the solution might be, but we believe that this is an aspect that should be reviewed considering the capacity of the house and that no one suffers from running out of hot water. About the location, I was surprised that it was so close to the road because you could hear the cars and not the birds but, it's not a drama. It's just for your information. Otherwise, we had a great weekend and we loved the house.

The house is very comfortable, all on one level, decorated with great taste and with all the necessary equipment to accommodate to its maximum capacity. Of all the rural houses in which we have stayed as a family, undoubtedly the most complete. The garden, the porch and the pool are incredible, with impressive views of Canigó. In addition, there is an area to park cars and access the house directly, very convenient. The owners, charming. They live on the top floor and you don't even notice. The area is very quiet and is close to l'Escala, with beautiful villages just a few minutes away. For shopping, in Bàscara you have everything 2 minutes away by car. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay at Ca la Gracieta. The accommodation is just like the photos and even better when seen live. From the first moment we felt comfortable and very pleased with every detail of the property. It is worth noting that everything works perfectly, the decoration is very well done, the beds, rooms, bathrooms are all of very good quality and in perfect condition. Communication has been very fluid and they have shown flexibility. All of us who stayed were very happy and satisfied with the stay. Thank you!

Marzà is very close to seaside towns such as Llançà and Roses, beaches like Grifeu, and traditional towns like Peralada or Castelló d'Empúries. It is located in an agricultural and livestock environment and allows for walks on foot or by bicycle. The house is very large and has two very interesting unique rooms that we have extensively used: a covered outdoor dining room and a game and TV room.

We have been resting at the house for a week. It's the third time we've been there. That says it all. Well received, attentive, clean, house equipped with everything you need, swimming pool, tranquility, surroundings... We will return.

We've spent some great days with friends. Rita and Martí's accommodation is very well equipped and is perfect for groups, it has five rooms, all with their own bathroom, which is very convenient. The house was very clean and well maintained, and we didn't lack anything at all. In addition, it is located in an ideal area for excursions and discovering interesting corners. There are also very close wineries to visit, olive farms and charming villages. We have been very well, both for the house and for the surroundings. It is a perfect place to disconnect, enjoy with friends and get to know the Alt Empordà. We will definitely return!
