Can Fort House - Sant Esteve de Guialbes

Very original lodging, an ancient fortified house, in a small village. The house is very welcoming, well equipped, and well suited for large families or groups. Close to Girona, the lodging is well situated. A little effort can be made for air conditioning: one room is not livable in case of heatwave (which was our case) and the two air conditioners in the house suppose to leave all the doors open. Contacted by email, the owners were very responsive.

Exceptional house in the heart of nature

A spacious and comfortable house, surrounded by nature, adapted to all needs and with many spaces and corners, both indoors and outdoors, that invite you to enjoy a pleasant and shared stay. Every corner was carefully taken care of down to the smallest detail. One point to improve is the wifi that did not reach all the rooms.

Perfect house for a large family stay!

We were three couples and 4 children (including a baby) and we had a great time! Everything in the house is conducive to a pleasant stay! Everyone can have their own space (including their own shower space) with their privacy (including significant acoustic privacy for stays with young children) The facilities are perfect and allow for cooking for a large group. The separate pool area from the house allows for more safety for children and the large table in front of the barbecue is very pleasant for family evenings. The small village is very friendly, its restaurant and its two bars on the square 200 meters from the house also delight young and old. The supermarket is very good and you will find everything you are missing without traveling miles (including excellent local ham). We will be back!

Super holiday location at a great house

We stayed at Can Casadevall de Miànigues with two families and had a great time. The house is very roomy and the pool is superb to relax at during the day. We received a warm welcome from Anna on arrival and she gave us lots of tips on where to eat or things to do. We will look very fondly at our holiday for many years.
