Holiday cottages in Maià de Montcal

Excellent house, super friendly staff. It was like a hotel with its towels on the beds, everything super clean and very well thought out.

We spent 4 super good family days, nothing was missing, super important that there are air conditioners throughout the house, and they work wonderfully. The outside area is very pleasant and comfortable, the large table is perfect and the size of the pool too. The attention of Arnau and his father has been a 10.

We had a great few days at Ca la Gracieta with the whole gang, from the girls to the grandparents! The house is charming, tastefully renovated, super equipped and with details that are immediately felt (quality details, the silent air conditioning, and proper soundproofing). The pool, a 10, the games, a 10 - we haven't stopped playing foosball throughout the stay. Cistella is quiet, without much fuss, but that's why we went there: to disconnect and make escapes to the surrounding villages. And everything impeccably organized by Naturaki, who has made everything very easy.

It was a great stay, the house is beautiful and the treatment of the owners unbeatable. We were very comfortable at the pool and doing the barbecue.

The house is very well equipped, everything is quite new and the location is excellent: secluded, quiet and perfect for disconnecting. As for the facilities, we have no complaints. However, we believe that there are several aspects that should be improved. The main one is the issue of flies: many entered the house and there was a large amount of dead flies on the floor throughout the house. Mosquito nets on doors and windows would be a much needed improvement. We also did not find the presence of a camera pointing towards the pool area appropriate. We understand that there may be security reasons, but it affects the privacy of the guests. In fact, we felt uncomfortable knowing that we could be being recorded while enjoying the pool. On the other hand, although they finally returned the deposit to us, we were told that on a next occasion they could charge us an additional 50 € for cleaning because the floor had become a bit sticky after a bottle broke. We cleaned it as soon as it happened and, although it is possible that some residue remained, it seems to us an excessive claim considering the price of the accommodation and that the house was left in good general condition, far from being dirty or neglected. In summary, the experience was good thanks to the house and its location, but these details are not necessary.

We regret the inconvenience with the flies and take note about installing fly screens. Regarding the camera, it is only intended to ensure security and control access, especially when there are no guests in the house, but we understand your concern. After considering it, we have changed the camera's location to avoid making guests feel uncomfortable. About the cleaning, we make a great effort in maintaining and cleaning the facilities so that all guests can enjoy the house, and it is for this reason that, much to our regret, on some occasions we are forced to apply a security deposit withholding when guests have not left the house in the expected conditions. However, in your case, considering it was an accident and that the rest of the house was alright, we ultimately decided not to withhold the deposit.

It's a very clean, cozy house and perfect for groups of 12 or 15 people. The facilities are great, although it's built on different levels and we went with a grandmother, access to the different spaces is very complicated and limited. Another improvement would be the issue of mosquito nets or some type of prevention, it's a space with a lot of mosquitoes and flies. The rest, a 10.
