Agriculture has been one of the main economic activities of Cornellà del Terri. Around the area you will find different farmhouses that are a clear vestige of the town's rural past. One of the best-known farmhouses is that of Can Prades, which has a stone facade. Mas Farró, mas Borrell or sa Quintana are also interesting.
If you like literature, different tours are organized in Cornellà del Terri where the book by Javier Cercas les Soldats de Salamis is recreated, a story that takes place during the Spanish Civil War.
Popular culture is deeply rooted in Cornellà del Terri. Throughout the year, different parties are organized that have a large attendance of visitors. The planting of the May Tree is worth seeing. Don't forget to see the cuckold dance either, a dance based on the Joan Amades Custom.
There are several historical buildings that you can see in Cornellà del Terri. The church of Sant Pere stands out, with a large bell tower in the shape of a sword. It was built in the 11th century and renovated in the 18th. The church of Sant Esteve is also very interesting, a Romanesque building that retains much of its original elements. The castle of Ravós del Terri, a building from the 14th century, is still preserved from the Middle Ages.
