Holiday cottages in Capmany

We went to spend the weekend with the family and we were very comfortable. The weather was good and we were able to enjoy both the inside and the outside of the house. The little ones even swam in the pool! The house is well renovated, but maintains the essence of a rural house. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms a bit old, but correct. The kitchen very well equipped. The deal with the owner, via whatsapp, very fast and friendly. As a negative point, just mention that there is little to do in the village. There are a couple of vineyards that can be visited, but not much more. If the plan is to live in the house, perfect! If you want to do outdoor activities without taking the car, the possibilities are limited.

We went to spend a weekend with friends, 6 adults and 6 children! The house has everything in a very quiet village, the owners of the house very friendly and they explained how everything worked and the history of the castle. It was a pleasant experience that we will repeat again.

We have spent two weeks with family and very comfortably at Can Cabano. The house is very beautiful and comfortable and was not lacking anything. Ideal for the little ones. Very good location combining mountain-sea in a quiet area. Dealing with the owner was very easy and good, it was a pleasure. We recommend it 100%!

The house is fine, very clean and everything well arranged. The house is large, there is enough space, various living rooms and dining rooms, all very spacious. The owners are very friendly. However, facing the summer, the fact of having the pool and the barbecue area in a different building becomes very uncomfortable, especially when it comes to eating, you have to continually go to fetch things from the kitchen which is on the 1st floor of the other building. Perhaps, as a suggestion, a refrigerator and a cabinet with dishes could be placed in that area. On the other hand, we found the dishes very scarce, not so much in plates but in bowls, for example, there are some big ones but for appetizers, none. There aren't many glasses either... On the other hand, they should do a general review: some showers do not work well, there were leaks in the dining room, it would be good to leave some candles or lights for when the power goes off... In summary, we have been fine but I believe improving little things would make it perfect!

Regarding the tableware, we have a set of 30 services with plates and glasses for every meal, as well as 2 or 3 bowls of each size (large, medium and small). We believe this is enough if the dishwasher is used, but we will review everything to ensure that there are enough. Regarding the pool area, we left plates, glasses, etc., of picnic/disposable type for convenience. About the showers and leaks, we were not aware of this, so we appreciate you letting us know. We've notified the maintenance service to inspect everything. We have also placed candles in a kitchen cabinet in case of a power outage. Thank you again and see you next time, Rita.
