Thanks to the remains that have been found in the Fonda cave, it is known that there were human settlements between the years 2500 and 1800 BC. The historic center of the town has a great tourist attraction due to the fact that it preserves its walled town structure. One of the most emblematic buildings is the Casal de la Família Castellví. It stands out for having been the location of the old castle and for having a Renaissance style. Another building of interest is the church of Sant Pere. It was built at the end of the 19th century and has a neoclassical style.

This museum is located in an old nunnery dating from the 19th century. Within its collection you can see works of religious painting from the Mossèn Romà Comamala Foundation that date from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

There are several routes that leave the town center and go through different places of great natural beauty. One of the most well-known is the one that passes through the Gaià River and crosses towns such as Salomó. On the other hand, you have signposted routes of different levels of difficulty. If you go with the family you can get close to the Terra Blanco, a space that is located between agricultural fields and has a picnic area with benches and wooden tables.
