The first written document of Nulles dates from 1165. Until 1825 it was under the rule of the barony of Vallmoll. One of the main attractions of the town is its old town, due to the fact that it preserves many buildings in a good state of conservation. One of the best known is the parish church dedicated to Sant Joan Baptista. Its beginnings date back to the 16th century and combines baroque and neoclassical elements. On the other hand, only one wall is preserved from the old medieval castle.
The beginnings of the Nulles Wine Cooperative go back to 1917. Its building is modernist style and was designed by Cèsar Martinell. Its state of conservation is very good, although its interior has been restored. If you visit its facilities, you can see what the entire wine and cava production process looks like, as well as discover the architectural history of the winery. At the end of the visit, you can also taste some of the wines from the cellar.
From the center of Nulles, numerous paths cross the agricultural fields. You also have signposted hiking routes that will allow you to discover natural landscapes of great beauty, such as the banks of the Francolí and Gaià rivers.
