Ca l'Avi Ramón

A family house with more than a century of history

Ca l'Avi Ramon is a family house from the late nineteenth century located in the center of Montferri, a small village surrounded by vineyards and rural landscapes of the region of Alt Camp, Tarragona. For generations, the family dedicated itself to agriculture and livestock, and also made their own wine, elements that the house preserves and are displayed in a museum format. In 2006 a comprehensive renovation began, recovering different spaces and adapting them to offer all current comforts without losing their original character.

The house is distributed over different floors, connected by stairs. Inside you will find spacious and cozy spaces with a decoration that combines the traditional essence of the house with a comfortable and familiar environment. On the ground floor there is a small game room with football table that connects with the charming outdoor garden and porch.

Going up to the first floor is the kitchen, it is fully equipped, with a terrace and connects with the common areas, designed so that the whole group can share meals, chats and moments of relaxation. On this same floor there are two double bedrooms, a full bathroom with a shower and a courtesy sink.

On the second floor you will find a double bedroom with two single beds, a triple bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a second full bathroom with a shower. On this same floor there is a large living room equipped with sofas, large TV and space to enjoy the tranquility and the views to the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of Montserrat de Montferri. All rooms and stays are equipped with heating and ceiling fan.

One of the most pleasant spaces of Ca l'Avi Ramon is its exterior, an intimate and protected patio that invites you to enjoy the house in tranquility. You will find a swimming pool, a relaxation area with loungers to relax or sunbathe and the large barbecue. The porch, located next to the pool, has an outdoor dining area ideal for sharing meals outdoors during the good weather months.

Ca l'Avi Ramon is a house with a soul, marked by the history of a family and a way of life closely linked to the land. A cozy accommodation full of corners to meet, rest and enjoy a few days in good company. In the municipality you can also visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of Montserrat, a work by Gaudí's disciple J.M. Jujol and, a few kilometers away, the royal monastery of Santes Creus.

The house is ideal for disconnecting, being among vineyards, sharing with friends and family. It lacks no detail, it's comfortable and has very beautiful views. We were 4 friends and we didn't leave the house. Highly recommended.
