La Selva is a region where many country houses are found, since it is an ideal place to enjoy both the sea and the mountains. On the coastal side, we can highlight three similar towns, but with their particular charm and with the authentic Costa Brava essence, such as: Blanes where the Tordera river flows. Some time ago fishing was an important income source for local people, but over time, like the rest of Costa Brava villages, tourism has become the main income source. Lloret de Mar belongs also to La Selva region and is the city where we will find a great nightlife offer, but more and more families also choose this destination to spend their holiday days. Tossa de Mar is one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa Brava, where you will find the Old Town of Tossa, declared a National Historic Artistic Monument. You can visit it on a route that goes from its enchanting Medieval streets to the summit of its well-known Tower of the Moors, that runs right next to the beach and that surely you will recognize by the amount of times that has left in the typical images of the town of Tossa. From there, you will enjoy fantastic views of the country houses that make up the town and magnificent panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

If you go deeper into the interior, you will find charming villages that are highly recommended to visit, such as Arbúcies, Breda, Hostalric, Sils, through the capital of the region, Santa Coloma de Farners, and up to Susqueda, where you can visit its well-known swamp.

Idyllic holidays, spectacular house

We spent a spectacular week, very comfortable in the house. The interior is very well equipped, there were 9 of us, one of them in a wheelchair. The rooms are spacious and all equipped with fans. There are two floors. Beautiful kitchen, very spacious, we had lunch every day on the porch, adjacent to the kitchen, spectacular with the shade of the fig tree. What can I say about the exterior, well-kept aesthetics, plants and nature everywhere, a century-old hemlock, some hammocks hanging in the garden, the super comfortable pool with stairs... we went with a little girl in a wheelchair and we had a great time. We also made a lot of use of the sports area, the volleyball net and the basketball hoops. The house has a lot of charm, it comes from the owner, charming, very attentive and very willing to inform about everything possible, a 14 out of 10 for Joaquima. He showed us the location of everything about the village... butcher, bakery, Monday market and even the clinic... which by the way, we went and they were also lovely. Perfect location... 3 minutes from the town and 15 minutes from Girona... you can't ask for more... we will repeat... the house and the surroundings have a special energy.

Disconnection in a very cozy place

The house is perfect, very beautiful, allows you to spend the day together. Too bad the weather wasn't good and we couldn't use the pool. We went for a walk in Vilobí, the path around the Crosa volcano is very nice. Of course, I missed blinds on the windows so we wouldn't wake up so early in the daylight. Everything else is perfect!

Excellent stay in Can Casadevall

We had rented the house for a family event and we had a great stay. Very spacious house, lots of play areas, well-equipped kitchen and a very pleasant dining room. Miquel is available and very friendly. The environment is fabulous, while remaining close to the village to do all the necessary shopping. A small note: the bathrooms could be renewed.

Great for a group of friends with children

We have spent a weekend with a group of friends with children and we have been great in the house. Each room with its bathroom and the very large and comfortable living room. The barbecue area is great too and the outside is wonderful for children. The kitchen equipped with everything you need. We will repeat without a doubt!

Family reunion in la Coma Vella

The whole family met with our children (12 children from 0 to 15 years old) in Coma Vella. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped for such a large group. We were very comfortable and the owners are very friendly and attentive. We only miss a couple of things: - There is no light in the play areas (soccer field, volleyball field...) and in winter, at dusk practically at 5pm, the children were left without being able to take advantage of those areas. - The water in the house is from a well and it is better not to consume it. We did not know in advance because it is not notified and they do not leave you any complimentary bottle/carafe of mineral water. We had to leave late to find a gas station to buy a bottle of water to drink. Otherwise everything very well. If you are traveling with children, there is a farm nearby called Mas Bes and you can visit it. Children and adults really enjoyed this visit.

Naturaki respond: Thank you very much, Sylvia, for your comment. We are glad to know that your stay went well. We take note of what you comment to improve it. In reference to outdoor lighting, it is difficult to illuminate everything, but we will consider the area of the soccer fields. Thank you for visiting and we hope to welcome you soon, Carles,
