Where to enjoy the calm of the landscape in good company

Surrounded by fields, in Salitja, in the municipality of Vilobí d’Onyar, Cal Frare is a fully renovated rustic house where you can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings, just 20 minutes from Girona and the beaches of the Costa Brava. The property has neighbours with completely separate entrances and spaces to guarantee guests’ privacy.

The decoration and furnishings, carefully considered down to the last detail, combine with original architectural elements such as the wooden beams to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

On the ground floor, a small entrance hall opens onto the indoor dining room and the kitchen equipped with everything needed for your stay and with a fireplace. This floor also has the living room with television, a full bathroom with a shower and a games room with foosball.

On the first floor, a spacious landing with a billiard table provides access to the laundry area and the four double bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. All the rooms have air conditioning and a heat pump.

Outside, the natural grass garden opens onto the landscape of fields surrounding the house. The swimming pool and the heated outdoor jacuzzi invite you to relax and enjoy the views all year round. The porch has a chill-out area and an outdoor dining area for meals in the fresh air. There is also a barbecue area, a football pitch with two goals and a ping-pong table.

At Cal Frare, the days pass with swims in the swimming pool, meals on the porch and time spent together in the house. A place to leave the rush behind and enjoy the peaceful landscape in good company.

What is the maximum capacity of Cal Frare and how is it calculated?

The maximum capacity of Cal Frare is 8 people. For your comfort and in compliance with the regulations, the maximum capacity of the house cannot be exceeded in any case.
In this house, children from 2 years old are counted when calculating the maximum capacity of the accommodation. Babies are not counted in Cal Frare.

What kind of swimming pool does the house have?

Cal Frare has a swimming pool saltwater of 8.5x4.5m and a depth of 1.6m.

When are the swimming pools opened?

Its outdoor swimming pool is available all year round, even though it is not heated.

Are dogs allowed at Cal Frare?

Yes, dogs are allowed for an additional fee of €40 per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs.

Failing to include the dog in the reservation may result in a financial penalty and the retention of the deposit.

Is the website information up to date?

Doubts about the booking, check-in and check-out times

When and how to make the payments for the reservation at Cal Frare?

To be able to confirm the reservation, you will need to make a payment of a downpayment of 25% of the total reservation by card, bank transfer or using a bonus or gift check.

Cal Frare offers the option of online check-in. You can pay the rest of the outstanding amounts such as the tourist tax, the deposit and the outstanding amount of the house rental in a very easy and convenient way. If you want to go directly to the house without going through our offices, you can check-in online or remotely. A few days before the day of entry (recommended between 3-4 days before), you can access the link in the booking confirmation email to check-in online and in this way, fill in the personal details of the booking holder, sign the house rental contract, attach a photo of the identity document of the reservation holder and make the payment of the outstanding amount of the reservation with a credit or debit card (house rental, tourist tax, deposit).

How can I request the invoice for the stay?

You will be able to request the invoice for your stay at Cal Frare during the online check-in process where you will have the option to enter the data you want to appear on the invoice and in this way, when the stay ends , the homeowners will receive an automatic notification to prepare the invoice and they will send it to you.

Please note that this accommodation can legally only issue invoices to individuals. Cal Frare cannot issue invoices to companies.

What time can we check in and out of Cal Frare?

Check-in time
The check-in time at Cal Frare is from 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-in before 17:00 with the early check-in supplement, depending on the details of each booking. During the booking process and in the confirmation email, you will informed whether this option is available for your selected dates.

If the early check-in supplement is not added, check-in time will be from 17:00.

If your stay dates allow it, you can add the early check-in supplement during the booking process or from your private user area up to 24 hours before your arrival date.

Check-out time
The usual check-out time at Cal Frare is before 11:00 am.

On Sundays and public holidays, you will automatically be able to enjoy the house until 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-out later than 17:00 with the night check-out supplement, which will allow you to enjoy the house until 21:00, depending on the features of each booking. When making the booking, and also in the confirmation email, we will let you know if this supplement can be contracted for the selected dates.

You can add the night check-out during the booking process or from your private user area.

Where and how do I pick up the house keys?

When you have completed the online check-in, we will validate the documentation and the payment and send you the "confirmation for the distance check-in" email with the copy of the rental contract, the contact phone number to resolve any incident during your stay, practical information of the house and the code and the instructions to be able to collect the keys into the mailbox of the house itself

How can I contact the homeowners?
