Comfort and tranquility at the foot of Montseny

Can Reixach is located in an idyllic spot in Baix Montseny, in Breda. This town is known for its tradition in ceramic crafts and its proximity to the Montseny Natural Park, a privileged location for enjoying nature, hiking, cycling and the area's rich heritage. In addition, the house is just 5 minutes by car from the Riells and Viabrea-Breda train station, 30 minutes from the Maresme beaches and 1 hour from the city of Barcelona.

The house stands out for its comfort in a quiet and well-connected environment in the center of the town, where all services are available. Its distribution is practical and most of it is concentrated on the ground floor, where on one side there is the living room with fireplace together with the dining room, a space with air conditioning and direct access to the garden. Next to it is the fully equipped, modern kitchen with access to the barbecue area. On the other side of the house is the bedroom area, where there are two double bedrooms, a shared bathroom with bathtub and a large double suite with complete bathroom with shower, a dressing room and air conditioning. In the hall of the house there is a courtesy bathroom and in the bedroom area there is a laundry room that communicates with the garage.

On the first floor, up the stairs from the entrance of the house, there is a large living room with TV and sofas, a billiard table and air conditioning. This room has lots of natural light and a private terrace where you can enjoy the surroundings of the estate. This same floor has a double bedroom. The whole house has heating and free wifi.

The exterior of the property is extensive and intimate, with a swimming pool surrounded by the house, ideal for enjoying the tranquility of the area. The garden has a large pine area where you can walk and play in a safe environment. In the garage of the house there is a games room with a ping-pong table (not suitable for parking cars).

Next to the house, there is a paddle court that guests of Can Reixach can access free of charge with prior reservation.

A spectacular house

The perfect house. Very beautiful and very spacious. As for the kitchen utensils, we noticed a few things that could be improved, but overall, everything was very good. The rubbish collection system is a little confusing, but that’s something to do with the village: sometimes they collect the rubbish before 10 p.m., even though the designated time to put it out is between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended.

Days off at Can Reixach / Breda

We spent 4 days with the family at the house. The house corresponds to the photos: it is large, spacious and bright, with comfortable beds and a well-kept garden. The football area, swimming pool, billiards and ping-pong is a plus if you go with teenagers. Thanks for the welcome detail and being able to use the barbecue and paddle courts. In Breda there are shops and supermarkets nearby and the area is quiet. But there are certain things to improve. First, not having a key for the door and the entrance gate gives a lot of insecurity, especially at night (as much as it can only be opened with a code, at least a lock would be good). Second, the municipal door-to-door system (without containers on the street) for recycling and selective waste collection in Breda is totally incompatible with a holiday rental of days. The property/Naturaki, in addition to encouraging recycling and reminding to leave the house clean (there is a deposit), must provide a solution for the last day, it is not an option for the tenant to take the accumulated garbage in their car (where?) or distribute it in the park/sidewalk bins. I would also advise having a large trash bin to leave the different already full and closed recycling bags and not have them accumulated in the garden (where the area fills with flies, ants and wasps). Third: the pool is quite large for being private, but from the second day the water was increasingly murky, despite the filtration system and passing the net. Fourth: the rooms were hot at night, fans were missed; in the suite room there is air conditioning but it is already a few years old and is quite noisy. There are mosquito nets on all windows, but there is no air circulation and at 6 light already comes in. And finally, possibly being the end of the season, the upholstery of the living room sofa was quite dirty; covers or quilts to cover the sofa, for hygiene, would have been appreciated. Houses of this type have their own wear and tear that can be understood but these details can compensate for the quality and price that is supposed to be paid for them.
