What can I do in Navata and its holiday cottages?

If you like towns with a lot of history and fancy a quiet rural getaway, Navata is full of people! A village in the Alt Empordà, on the Empordà plain, near the Garrotxa and the Pla de l'Estany where you can stroll through the old houses, walk through its alleys or get lost in the soft terrain bordering the Manol and Fluvià rivers.

Although in 1019, the parish of Sant Pere de Navata was handed over to the canonry of the See of Girona, it seems that the definitive toponym does not appear in documents until 1090.
