Visit the sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat

The works to build the sanctuary of Our Lady of Montferri began in 1925 and lasted seventy-three years. Its design is the work of the architect Josep Maria Jujol, Gaudí's disciple. The building has a texture that is very similar to the rounded shapes of the rocks of the Montserrat mountain. One of the most prominent elements of the sanctuary is its central spire which is 27 meters high.
