Christmas ice rink in Girona
From December 21st, 2024, to January 5th, 2025
This year, the Girona Trade Fair Palace debuts IMAGINA, the city's largest Christmas market. This new market format will feature an enormous 800 m2 ice skating rink, a shopping area, a food space, and a children's area. Access to the market will be free, and you will only have to pay if you decide to skate. If you want to make the most of a holiday Christmas trip to the capital of Gironès and enjoy one of the largest ice rinks in Catalonia, head to the Girona Fair! Just remember that it is compulsory to wear gloves when skating.
Christmas ice rink in Blanes
From December the 21st, 2024, to January the 4th, 2025
From Girona, we move to Blanes, the gateway to the Costa Brava, which becomes the perfect family-friendly destination during the Christmas holidays. One of its main attractions is the 200 square meters ice rink located in the Plaça dels Dies Feiners. This rink is made of artificial ice, making it environmentally friendly. An ideal activity for both children and adults. It will be open from December the 21st, 2024, to January the 4th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Christmas ice rink in Platja d'Aro
From November the 29th, 2024, to January the 7th, 2025
Do you want to experience a dream Christmas in the center of Platja d'Aro? Each year, a 400 square meters natural ice rink is set up, covered by a tent, with music, Christmas decorations, and spectacular lighting. Located in Plaça dels Estanys, entrance costs 8 euros, which includes skate rental and single-use foot covers. If you're visiting Platja d'Aro, don't miss the other nearby Christmas activities, such as the live nativity scene in Castell d'Aro, one of the best nativity scenes on the Costa Brava.
Christmas ice rink in Vall-llobrega
From December 6th, 2024, to January 6th, 2025
One of the highlights this Christmas is the new Christmas Park called Els Set Follets, located in the small Baix Empordà town of Vall-llobrega. In this park, surrounded by forests and nature, you'll find concerts, a handmade crafts and Christmas decorations market, musical brunches, attractions and other activities for children, food trucks, and of course an ice rink.
Christmas ice rink in Santa Coloma de Farners
From December 20th to 22nd, 2024
From December 20th to 22nd, Santa Coloma de Farners will also have an ice rink to delight both kids and adults. This synthetic ice rink will be located in Plaça Farners, the town's main hub. Over those days, the town will be filled with activities, concerts, and Christmas workshops, perfect for kicking off the holiday season in the best way possible. Santa Coloma de Farners will become the ideal place to experience the Christmas spirit with the whole family.
Christmas ice rink in Olot
From December the 13th, 2024, to January the 7th, 2025
Once again, Olot will be filled with magic and excitement with its ice rink located in the Plaça Major. This rink offers a unique experience for families and children who wish to enjoy skating amid the charm of La Garrotxa. You'll also find a variety of activities to fully enjoy Christmas: children's shows, carol recitals and popular songs, hot chocolate, circus acts, and much more!
Christmas ice rink in Empuriabrava
From December the 6th to 8th, 2024
We end our tour of the best ice rinks in Girona and the Costa Brava in one of the most popular tourist spots in Alt Empordà. Just before Christmas, Empuriabrava will become the ideal place for both young and old with its synthetic ice rink.
