Cala Banys (Lloret de Mar)
We are not exaggerating: Cala Banys is one of the most beautiful and relaxing terraces on the Costa Brava and one of its best beach bars. You shouldn't miss it!. Located, as its name suggests, in Cala Banys, just over five minutes from the center of Lloret de Mar, at night it becomes an intimate and romantic spot which makes it ideal to go with your partner. Punta Garbí Lounge & Chill Out (Lloret de Mar)
We continue in Lloret de Mar. This time at Punta Garbí, a beach bar that in 2005 was transformed into a bar by the sea ideal for having a drink, a snack, or enjoying a good cocktail while relaxing with the sound of the waves. They have an area with sofas and pallets that, as you'll see, is Instagram-worthy. The views are impressive.
Blue Bar (Roses)
And from Lloret de Mar, we move to Roses. The Blue Bar is located on the main terrace of the Vistabella hotel, a boutique hotel with great views of the Mediterranean. But if we have added it to our route, it is because they also have a chill-out area where you can lie on a comfortable Balinese bed or a sofa surrounded by palm trees while listening to the sound of the waves. At the Blue Bar, you can also enjoy a good cocktail (they have a cocktail menu created by the renowned bartender Cristian Hornos) while contemplating stunning views of the sea and the bay of Roses. If you go, don't forget your camera. You will need it!
Roos (Empuriabrava)
Going to Roos is like teleporting to Ibiza without needing to take a plane. You just need to go to Costa Brava. A bar-restaurant with a large terrace and chill-out area with sofas and sun loungers where you can enjoy a good mojito or a signature cocktail. One of the best cocktail bars with terrace on the Costa Brava located in the luxurious Empuriabrava, (known as the Venice of Empordà) near the Aiguamolls del Empordà Natural Park. There you can relax while listening to music or watching the water of the pool illuminated at night. They also have a space for private parties. Worth a visit.
El Pati de l'Estrella (Palafrugell)
El Pati de l'Estrella is a vermouth bar. Or better said: It is one of the most charming vermouth bars in Empordà. A 1950s bar tastefully rebuilt, with a bohemian and original style, that will be a hit on Instagram. You will find vermouths, beers, tapas, and mixed drinks. But if we have added it to our route, it is because if you fancy a bit more peace and quiet, they have a sofa and armchair area ideal for disconnecting from daily stress and enjoying live music on Saturdays, as it is one of the best terraces to listen to live music during the summer. You won't regret it.
El Jardí de Can Marc (Begur)
We finish our route through the best chill-out terraces on the Costa Brava where we started, in Begur, in a gastro-cocktail bar that enjoys one of the most impressive views in the area. El Jardí de Can Marc is, precisely, the idyllic garden of a farmhouse with more than 300 years of history that has housed all kinds of buildings: from a convent to an art gallery or a nightclub. Currently, it is a chill-out gastro-cocktail bar (it has an amazing sofa area) where you can find tapas, cocktails, wines, gins, and spirits. A great little paradise to spend a magical night on the Costa Brava.
