La Daina is located in the municipality of Romanyà de la Selva, in Baix Empordà, and just 5 minutes from the beaches of the Costa Brava. With spectacular views of the Les Gavarres Natural Park and surrounded by a natural garden, it becomes a place full of calm and light for those who seek tranquility just minutes from all tourist services.

On the ground floor, there is a small and cozy living room with a stone fireplace, the dining room, the completely renovated and equipped kitchen, a courtesy bathroom and a double room with a private full bathroom.

On the first floor there is a large living room with TV and a pool table, two triple rooms, two shared full bathrooms and a double room with a courtesy bathroom inside the room.

The house has heating in all rooms and ceiling fans in all bedrooms and in the living room on the first floor.

Outside, in front of the house, there is a pergola with the outdoor dining area where you can enjoy long meals outdoors and a ping-pong table.

From the garden you can enjoy spectacular views of the Les Gavarres Natural Park while listening to the song of the birds in the barbecue area. Near the pool you will find many shades of centenarian trees.

What is the maximum capacity of La Daina and how is it calculated?

The maximum capacity of La Daina is 10 people. For your comfort and in compliance with the regulations, the maximum capacity of the house cannot be exceeded in any case.
In this house, children from 2 years old are counted when calculating the maximum capacity of the accommodation. Babies are not counted in La Daina.

What kind of swimming pool does the house have?

La Daina has a swimming pool chlorinated of 8x4m and a depth of 1 to 1.8m.

When are the swimming pools opened?

Its outdoor swimming pool is available from Easter (or April 1st) until the last weekend of October.

Are dogs allowed at La Daina?

Yes, dogs are accepted with a cost of €40 per dog with a maximum of 2 dogs.

Not including the dog in your booking can lead to a withholding of the deposit of €40 per dog.

Is the website information up to date?

We always strive to resolve it as soon as possible so that our guests' stay is not affected.

Doubts about the booking, check-in and check-out times

When and how to make the payments for the reservation at La Daina?

To be able to confirm the reservation, you will need to make a payment of a downpayment of 25% of the total reservation by card, bank transfer or using a bonus or gift check.

La Daina does not offer the option of online check-in, therefore check-in will be done directly with the homeowners upon arrival at the house. The first person in your group to arrive at the house will need to make the remaining payment and sign the contract. You can pay the rest of the outstanding amounts such as the tourist tax, the deposit and the rest of the rent:

In cash at your arrival at the house directly to the house owners.
By bank transfer. If you choose to pay the outstanding amount by bank transfer, you will find the bank details of the homeowners in the booking confirmation email to make the payment.
By credit or debit card at your arrival at the house.

How can I request the invoice for the stay?

If you want to have the invoice for your stay at La Daina, you will have to provide the data you want to appear on the invoice directly to the homeowners and at the end of the stay, they will prepare the invoice and they will send it to you.

What time can we check in and out of La Daina?

Check-in time
The check-in time at La Daina is from 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-in before 17:00 with the early check-in supplement, depending on the details of each booking. During the booking process and in the confirmation email, you will informed whether this option is available for your selected dates.

If the early check-in supplement is not added, check-in time will be from 17:00.

If your stay dates allow it, you can add the early check-in supplement during the booking process or from your private user area up to 24 hours before your arrival date.

Check-out time
The usual check-out time at La Daina is before 11:00 am.

On Sundays and public holidays, you will automatically be able to enjoy the house until 17:00.

This house offers the option to check-out later than 17:00 with the night check-out supplement, which will allow you to enjoy the house until 21:00, depending on the features of each booking. When making the booking, and also in the confirmation email, we will let you know if this supplement can be contracted for the selected dates.

You can add the night check-out during the booking process or from your private user area.

Where and how do I pick up the house keys?

A few days before your arrival at La Daina you can contact the house owners to confirm the time of your arrival and they will explain how the keys will be handed over.

How can I contact the homeowners?

If you have any questions about La Daina you can ask us and we will try to give you an answer as soon as possible.

If your reservation at La Daina has already been confirmed, you will find the contact number of the homeowners in the same email as your booking confirmation.

Who can I contact if I have any incident during the stay?

To solve any incident during your stay you will have to contact the homeowners directly as they know the house better and they will be able to give you a much faster and more effective answer. You will find their phone number in your booking confirmation email.

All our houses are equipped with washing machines. Remember that the detergent for the washing machine is not included and you will have to bring it yourself.

In all our houses you will find a basic cleaning kit on the day of your arrival. This cleaning kit includes: scourer, kitchen towels, dish soap and trash bags.

Do I need to bring coal?

For the barbecue, in the house you will find a 3 kg coal's bag and tablets to start the fire as courtesy (free of charge). If you think you will need more coal you will have to bring it yourself.

From the first weekend of October to the last weekend of April, in the house you will find 20 kg of firewood as well as tablets to light the fire as courtesy (free of charge) so that you can light the fireplace

Is there air conditioning in La Daina?

No, the house is not equipped with air conditioning. However, the house owners will provide you with standing fans to make you more comfortable if you need them.

Is there a hair dryer at La Daina?

Most of our houses are equipped with board games as well as facilities for playing football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis or pétanque.
