The history of Sant Feliu de Pallerols and its surroundings

Sant Feliu de Pallerols was born, approximately, from the 11th century, around the church. It was part of the castle of Hostoles, currently located in Les Planes d'Hostoles. Around the 14th century, it was even the center of the royal battalion of the Hostoles valley. The War of Independence strongly affected the municipality, which lost part of its population.
