The history of Mas De Barberans begins in 1155, when Ramon Berenguer ceded the municipality to the bishop of Tortosa. Within its urban center you must see the església parroquial de Sant Marc, the town's patron saint. In Cocó de la Gralla you can see an exhibition of rock art that is more than eight thousand years old.

Its proximity to the massís dels Ports allows you to take numerous outdoor excursions and see some species of indigenous flora and fauna such as the Hispanic goat.

Inaugurated in 2010, the center is a space intended to preserve and spread the artisan heritage that derives from the palm tree, a plant that comes from palm trees. The museum also hosts numerous workshops and demonstrations for different age groups by artisans.
