Now that spring has fully arrived, we would like to propose a route through the most flowery corners of Girona and the Costa Brava. With the pleasant sun of this season and with those places that surround us is when we most enjoy walking around mesmerized observing the flowers. A maximum pleasure for the senses where you can enjoy more colors than ever. Prepare the camera!
1. Cap Roig Gardens

In Calella de Palafrugell, we find this space hanging over the sea and crowned by a castle where over a thousand botanical species from different corners of the world gather, in addition to various sculptures by internationally renowned artists. A place where art, nature, and culture come together and become a luxury for the senses. During the months of July and August, the summer music festival, Festival Jardins de Cap Roig, one of the best summer festivals on the Costa Brava, is celebrated.
2. The fields of Baix Empordà

We recommend a walk through the interior fields of the Empordà. Palau-Sator, Gualta, Rupià, Parlavà and all its surroundings experience, in spring, the time of maximum explosion of colors! It's a very nice place to take a bike ride, since the roads are easy and flat.
3. Girona Temps de Flors

A classic. Every year, Girona receives spring with the Temps de Flors Festival. Streets, stairs, monuments, patios, balconies and gardens are adorned with floral ornamentations and artistic installations. Ideal for lovers of colorful art and spies, as many patios of private houses open their doors for this occasion.
4. Coastal paths in Cap de Creus

If in itself it is a luxury to walk along the coastal paths that surround the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, doing it in the spring will not leave you indifferent due to the contrast of colors between green, pink and blue of the sea. And if the sun is too strong, what better way to finish the route than with a good dip in the sea!
5. Marimurtra Botanical Garden

Located in Blanes, the Marimurtra Botanic Garden is one of the botanic gardens of the Costa Brava and is considered one of the most interesting botanic gardens in Europe. Along with the inherent beauty of the plants and the place itself, the splendid views of the sea and the Costa Brava must be added. It is the work of the German Carl Faust who dedicated his passion, effort and all his wealth to the realization of this dream.
If you're one of those whose blood gets stirred up by spring and makes you want to go for a leisurely walk, here you'll find the best spots in Girona and Costa Brava to behold a burst of blooming colors. Live and enjoy the most flower-filled corners of Girona and Costa Brava!
