Holiday homes in Catalonia in September

We loved our stay at Les Moreres. The house is very clean, well equipped, air conditioning in every room. Also, the closeness to the village with the supermarket, the bakery and restaurant was very much what we hoped for. We made several trips to Girona, which is only 15/20 minutes away. Nice markets, coffee bars and an old town to fall in love with. It's also perfect for trail runs and gravel bike routes. The pool and sunbeds were super nice and we could perfectly relax by the pool. At night, the BBQ was perfect for grilling steaks, burgers and Lomo! It could use a little bit more green and plants, and also an extra parasol or shade canvas. But we think it was so new it's still work in progress. We would very much recommend staying at this house. The service of Naturaki was also very positive. Very clear communication and service.

We've spent some very peaceful days. It's what you're looking for when you go to these places. The house was very good, we didn't miss anything. What we haven't solved is the collection of organic waste... The little ones enjoyed the indoor pool. Good location for wandering around the area.

Hello, The house is wonderful, with everything necessary. We were four people but there was more than enough tableware for us and more people. The beds are very comfortable and Nuri, the owner, is very friendly and has very good recommendations. The pool is very clean and the eggs from the chickens are excellent. We arrived at Ca l'Hortalà on the 17th of July and stayed for two full weeks, which turned out to be exactly the right amount of time to properly explore the region. The house itself is modern, spacious, and spotless, and having the small heated pool right there made all the difference in the July heat. We also made good use of the community swimming pool in the village, which was a nice way to cool off and get a bit of local flavor alongside the residents. Tortellà itself is small but has everything you actually need day to day. The local supermarket isn't big, but it covers the essentials without a hassle, so we didn't need to drive to a bigger town for basics. There are also a couple of good local bars in the village for a relaxed evening drink or a bite to eat, nothing fancy, but exactly the kind of authentic, low key atmosphere you want on a countryside stay. Its location in La Garrotxa made it an ideal base for day trips. We explored Figueres, Girona, and Besalú by car, all easy drives, and for Barcelona we took the train from Figueres, which was a relaxed and easy way to spend the day in the city without worrying about parking or traffic. Besalú in particular was a highlight, with its medieval bridge and old town feeling like stepping back in time, while Girona's cathedral and old quarter were well worth the wander. Figueres was a fun stop too, especially for anyone interested in Dalí. Coming back each evening to a quiet, comfortable house with the pool, the village bars, and everything within easy reach was the perfect way to end the day. Two weeks felt like enough time to properly settle in rather than rush from place to place, and the house and village together made that kind of relaxed pace easy. Highly recommend Ca l'Hortalà for anyone looking to use Tortellà as a base to explore Girona province. Barcelona is an easy train trip from Figueres if you'd rather skip the drive.

Can Donat is a beautiful house located in a very peaceful neighbourhood near Cassà de la Selva, surrounded by fields and woodland. It offers the perfect amount of space and privacy for spending a weekend with friends and enjoying the outdoors, thanks to its swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor chill-out area and small football pitch. It also seems like an excellent option for winter stays, as the interior is very well equipped, with several living rooms featuring televisions and sofas, as well as leisure areas with table tennis, a pool table and table football. The architecture is modern while retaining rustic elements such as stone walls and exposed wooden beams. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rooms are spacious and well distributed, allowing guests to enjoy both shared moments and more private areas. The house also has six bathrooms, which is another major advantage for accommodating large groups. The only aspect to bear in mind is that the house is somewhat secluded, so travelling by car is necessary. However, Cassà de la Selva is only a four-minute drive away and has several supermarkets where guests can buy everything they need for their stay. There are also various nearby attractions, including nature trails and cities such as Girona.
