Holiday homes in Catalonia in September

The house is very comfortable, all on one level, decorated with great taste and with all the necessary equipment to accommodate to its maximum capacity. Of all the rural houses in which we have stayed as a family, undoubtedly the most complete. The garden, the porch and the pool are incredible, with impressive views of Canigó. In addition, there is an area to park cars and access the house directly, very convenient. The owners, charming. They live on the top floor and you don't even notice. The area is very quiet and is close to l'Escala, with beautiful villages just a few minutes away. For shopping, in Bàscara you have everything 2 minutes away by car. Highly recommended!

We loved the house. Both my family and I have fallen in love with the place. Everything was impeccable, very clean and cared for down to the last detail. The house is perfectly equipped: there were many kitchen utensils, pots, dishes, glasses and everything necessary to enjoy the stay. We didn't miss anything at all and everything was in excellent condition. The only observation I would make is regarding the house being advertised as pet friendly. We went with our German Shepherd, about 33 kg, and the stairs were quite complicated for us. In the photos it seemed visually wider, but in person it is quite narrow, and our dog was afraid to go up and down. We had to carry her up and, even though we had no problem once upstairs, since we needed to take her out several times a day, it was a bit complicated. I think with a small dog that can be easily carried there would be no problem, but if you go with a medium or large dog, especially if it is afraid of stairs, it is something to keep in mind before booking. In fact, with an even larger dog it could be even more difficult. That said, this is a very specific issue of our case and does not detract from the fact that we found the house beautiful, very comfortable, impeccable and perfectly equipped. We enjoyed the stay very much and, in general, our experience has been excellent.

We have been very well at the house, it has an outdoor area with the pool and sports field that have made us enjoy many fun moments. The barbecue area and indoor games are also very beautiful and practical. We only missed that the kitchen had more equipment (there are no serving trays, knives that cut, etc) and a good capsule-style coffee maker. I think the final point to make it perfect would be air conditioning, on summer nights it is very hard to sleep, we have been very hot and the fans there do not give much air. We would repeat anyway. A very good family stay, the layout of the house with various areas allows not to be on top of each other and that's great. Quiet and very beautiful surroundings. I recommend this rural house for families who wish to gather. The garden offers multiple play spaces.

We've spent some great days with friends. Rita and Martí's accommodation is very well equipped and is perfect for groups, it has five rooms, all with their own bathroom, which is very convenient. The house was very clean and well maintained, and we didn't lack anything at all. In addition, it is located in an ideal area for excursions and discovering interesting corners. There are also very close wineries to visit, olive farms and charming villages. We have been very well, both for the house and for the surroundings. It is a perfect place to disconnect, enjoy with friends and get to know the Alt Empordà. We will definitely return!
