What can you do in Tona and its Holiday cottages?

The discovery of medicinal mineral waters in Tona during the 19th and 20th centuries led to the construction of several spas throughout the municipality. Currently, only one remains. This is the Codina spa and you can take advantage of your stay to have a massage or a relaxation treatment.

The gastronomy of Tona is another of its attractions. In its restaurants you can try some of Osona's typical dishes such as rabbit rice or chickpeas.

Visit his castle

The castle of Tona belonged to the counts of Barcelona. The first written references are from the year 889. Today, some parts are preserved such as a stone tower that was protected by the old defense walls. Very close to the castle is the church of Sant Andreu, which dates from the 11th century and has a Romanesque style. Its bell tower and sculptural decoration stand out.

Walk along its paths

Around Tona you will find many paths. One of the best known is the Tona trail. It leaves from the center of the town, has an extension of 23 kilometers and allows you to see some of the most important buildings in the area such as the Romanesque hermitage of Sant Miquel de Vilageriu or the church of Sant Cugat de Gavadons.
