Sant Jaume d'Enveja was a municipality that belonged to Tortosa. It wasn't until 1978 when it became independent and became part of the Montsià region. Thanks to its location in a natural environment, you can make trips on foot or by bike.

Rice and its cultivation is one of the main economic activities of this municipality. If you want to see how the whole process unfolds, you can visit an interactive paddy field , where you can see first-hand what the plantations look like and step in the mud. In addition, once the visit is done, you can taste some of the many varieties of rice there.
