L'Ampolla has been an independent municipality since 1937, when it separated from Perelló. Being a maritime municipality, you can do numerous activities by the sea. The beaches of l'Ampolla are well known for the quality of their waters.

L'Ampolla offers you numerous routes that cross spaces of great beauty. The route that goes through the Camí de Ronda was used by fishermen in the past. You can enjoy a spectacular view of the rice fields and platja de l'Arenal. It ends at the viewpoint of Bassa de les Olles , from where you can see movie sunsets.
