One of Porrera's main economic activities is the wine sector. This includes both the cultivation of the vine and the subsequent production of the wine. Throughout the municipality you will find several wineries that produce wines with DO Priorat. Many of them open their doors to visitors and offer some of their wines to taste. Gastronomy is also very important. Don't miss tasting the rolls, one of Porrera's most typical sweets.

From the center of the town there are several hiking routes that cross the vineyard fields. Some also pass by the Cortiella river, which will allow you to enjoy a river landscape of great beauty.

Visit the Vies Altes sports park

Les Vies Altes is a park where you can spend a good time with friends or the rascal. Within its facilities you can access circuits of different levels of difficulty where you will find ziplines, obstacle courses or areas equipped for archery.

Stroll through its historic center

Formerly, Porrera belonged to Siurana. In the 13th century it passed into the hands of the Carthusian monastery of Escaladei. Walking through the historic center of the town you can see some of its manor houses. In addition, on some of the facades of its buildings you will see sundials dating from the 19th century. On the outskirts of the town you can visit the hermitage of Sant Antoni Abat. A single-nave building that was built in 1610.
