Pradell de la Teixeta was under Saracen rule until the reconquest. Subsequently, it passed into the hands of the municipality of Garcia and also depended on the monastery of Escornalbou. In the center of the town there is still the fountain and the dryers that the inhabitants used to wash their clothes. One of the most emblematic buildings is the church of Santa Magdalena, a neoclassical building dating from the 18th century.

One of the most visited natural elements of Pradell de la Teixeta are its caves. One of the best known, given its large dimensions, is the Rector's cave. Other caves that you must also see are the Petitot cave, the Quimeres cave or the Arbonès cave.

Since 2009, the Festival en Veu Alta has been held in the Priory. During three days, numerous shows are organized that are based on the Catalan oral tradition. Although much of the content is aimed at adults, there are also activities for the family.

The Pradell de la Teixeta has several routes that reach the Serra de Pradell-l'Argentera, which allows you to plan excursions and hiking routes through a natural environment of great beauty. You can find routes for all levels. One of the most well-known is the one that reaches the Rector's cave. If you want to enjoy magnificent views, you can take advantage and go up to l'Enderrocada.
