Discover its history

Remains have been found in l'Aldea which show that there were already human settlements since prehistoric times . The Roman presence was also noticeable, due to the fact that it is very likely that you will pass a coastal Roman route. Today, four of the town's surveillance and defense towers are preserved. Specifically, they are the hermitage tower, the Burjassénia tower, the Vinaixarop tower and the Candela tower.

One of the traditional elements in rice cultivation are mills. In the guided tours you can see the whole process of cultivation and drying in the sun.
