Remains of Iberian, Roman or Islamic settlements have been found in Selva del Camp. In fact, the Roman culture is the one that has left a stronger mark as can be seen in the numerous Roman villages that have been found.

Its proximity to the Sierra de la Mussara allows you to go on nature excursions using some of the paths that leave the center of the town.

Do the Rec route

A hiking route of great interest is the Rec route. This is due to the fact that it allows to know in more depth what the hydraulic culture of the town was like. If you go through the Bridges, you will be able to see a set of arches that were responsible for passing the water through the wall and supplying part of the population. Along the way there are also the remains of flour mills.

Discover its Roman towns

The Roman past is clearly visible in Selva del Camp. Throughout the territory there are remains of ancient Roman villages. One of the most important is the town of Font de l'Abelló. A large number of earthenware, stone and coin objects have been found in the site. Another outstanding place is the Barranc de les Sales. In the excavations, pieces of pottery and walls made of stones and mortar have been found.
