Albiol's proximity to the Prades mountains offers you the possibility of numerous outdoor activities . You can take advantage and go on excursions with the family through its leafy forests. On the other hand, the historical heritage of the municipality is concentrated in the center of the town. Its castle was built by the Arabs, although it is currently in ruins. However, being located in the highest part of the town, it has exceptional views. You can also see modernist style buildings such as Vila Urrutia, a two-storey building that still retains a temple.

Currently, only parts of the wall and central buildings remain of the Albiol castle. This is due to the fact that after the Reaper War ended, it was ordered to be destroyed and demolished. Very close to the castle you can find the church of Sant Miquel de l'Albiol. It is a one-nave building that was built at the end of the 18th century.
