The first references to the Cabra del Camp date back to the year 980. During part of its history it was inside the Montblanc monastery. The town center stands out for having narrow and uneven streets. One of the most important buildings in the town is the parish church of Santa Maria. It was built in the 18th century and combines Baroque and Neoclassical styles.
Throughout the municipality of La Cabra del Camp you have paths that invite you to take walks through places of great beauty such as the Manco cave or the Miquelets cave. You can also climb the summit of Volterera, from where you can enjoy impressive views.
Wine culture is deeply rooted in Cabra del Camp. The winery of the Cabra del Camp Agricultural Union is responsible for the exploitation of the town's vineyards. Its building was built by Cèsar Martinell between 1919 and 1920 and combines noucentist and modernist elements.
One of the most popular sculptures of the Cabra del Camp is that of Mazinger Z. It is ten meters high and is dedicated to the popular cartoon character. It was placed in 1978 in an area known as Mas del Plata.
