The Badalona Museum was created in 1955 and has as its function the research and conservation of elements related to the history of the municipality. It is also in charge of carrying out archaeological excavations throughout the territory and has a large fund of objects that come from the ancient city of Baetulo. On the other hand, the museum organizes numerous cultural activities and guided tours such as that of the monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Murtra.
