Montgat is a municipality in the Maresme located very close to towns such as Badalona or El Masnou. Its Holiday cottages are surrounded by a natural environment of great beauty and offer you splendid sea views. One of the main attractions of this town are its beaches. In addition, the center of the town still maintains the charm of the fishing district, so you will have the feeling of traveling back in time. At Naturaki you will find the best Holiday cottages in Montgat.

What can you do in Montgat and its Holiday cottages?

Vestiges of Roman presence have been found throughout the municipality. In fact, the name Montgat comes from the Latin term Mons Hécate. Throughout the town you can see historical buildings that are in a good state of conservation. The Guaita tower is the oldest building and stands out for its apse floor plan. Another very interesting building is its train station. It was built in 1848, just like the Mataró and Badalona stations, it retains its original architectural style.

Montgat's gastronomic offer is very attractive. It has restaurants that offer a wide menu of both traditional and modern dishes.

Enjoy its beaches

The beaches of Montgat are very wide and welcoming. Its sand is fine and the water quality. This allows you to enjoy the sea with the whole family in peace. On the other hand, the beach conditions in winter are perfect for surfing.

Stroll through the fishing district

The fishermen's quarter of Montgat has its origin in the 18th century and was the old urban center. Walking through its streets you will be able to see buildings that recall other eras. One of the most prominent buildings in the neighborhood is the church of Sant Joan, which was built in 1816.

A magnificent house near Barcelona

Mas Casanovas is very well equipped and located in a very green natural setting, close to the town of Argentona and 30 minutes from the center of Barcelona. We spent a week there with 16 adults and we were perfectly satisfied with this house.

Beautiful and quiet house near Barcelona

The house is very cool and we have been very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything you might need. We really enjoyed the pool area and the games room. As an improvement, I would suggest that all rooms have a fan and that at least, in the dining room next to the kitchen, there is air conditioning (we have been during a heat wave and the fans have not been enough). The owners are very attentive and pleasant.

Naturaki respond: Thank you very much, Mireia, for your comment. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the house and its facilities. We take note of your suggestions to improve ventilation and cooling, especially during heat waves. We are pleased that your stay was so positive and we hope to see you again soon!.

Gorgeous elegant house with beautiful views

The house is splendid, with beautiful furniture inside, very comfortable while maintaining traditional features. The garden and pool were amazing, we enjoyed the barbecue and paella kitchen, as well as the billiards and the cellar. It was the perfect place for our group of 16 friends: quiet, serene and with beautiful views of the green mountains. In addition, it is very close to supermarkets and other services. The only drawback was the garbage collection at the end: since the usual place was closed, we had to drive 40 minutes round trip. However, this did not detract from the wonderful experience we had. The host was very nice and helpful, easy to communicate with through Whatsapp for anything we needed. We hope to return!.

Naturaki respond: We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed the house so much and its facilities. We take note on the garbage collection issue and will review how to improve it for the future. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again, and we look forward to your next stay!.

Amazing time in the Barcelona area

We had an incredible time at Mas Casanovas. We were 4 families with 2 children each and we felt as if we were living in a castle and very comfortable. Many rooms, many with their own bathroom, many common spaces: living room, dining room, room with fireplace, billiard room. Ample outdoor space and pool for the children to run and play and for the adults to relax. The owners were almost invisible but very helpful whenever we had any problem or question. Everyone in our group felt that we were lucky to be in such a large and beautiful house and we wanted to meet again there. In addition, it is not far from Barcelona, the sea is also easy to reach.

An unforgettable weekend at Mas Casanovas

It has been an incredible weekend. Both the surroundings and the house and the owners have been spectacular. The house lacks no detail: it has all the comforts and everything necessary to spend a really fantastic weekend with family or friends. Both Arnau and his grandmother have been very attentive to any need or possible unforeseen, a detail that is greatly appreciated. For all these reasons, we will definitely repeat. Thank you very much for everything.
