The 18-holes were designed by the English architect Fred Hawtree in 1966. A classic parkland differentiated by its ups and downs in the plane. The entire course was carved out of a thick and mature pine forest leaving most holes lined up with the lustrous trees. Golfers can enjoy a traditional English-designed course surrounded by a beautiful landscape of classical pine trees. Most of them were planted seventy years ago. The course complemented by free-draining sandy soil as it is close to the beach.
It's important to note that like in many golf clubs a minimum handicap of thirty-six is required to play and the standard scratch score is seventy-two.

When selecting a signature hole, number seventeen is a challenging Par 4 of 369 meters length.
The wind can complicate your strokes as it has two trees in the middle of the fairway making your tee off crucial for your second stroke. The green is strategically protected by bunkers.
Golf Platja de Pals has hosted divers tournaments such as the Spanish Open in 1972 or the European Tour School Finals in 2002-2003
