This small bar in the center of Girona offers, according to a large majority of people – among them ourselves – the best hot chocolate in the city. A great plan for a day when you're starving, in this emblematic place founded in 1920. Chocolate always gives a lot of play!
El Pati de Ca la Flora
A unique bar in the center of Banyoles, very close to the town center and only 200 meters from the lake. It is an old vaulted bar with a bar-cafeteria, decorated with touches of wood. An ideal place for decoration lovers where you can have breakfast, have a beer or some tapas.
Bistró del Mar
Hostal Empúries Bistro, located in front of Portitxol beach of Sant Martí d'Empúries, is an ideal place to stop for a complete breakfast overlooking the sea. They offer a very complete and beautiful buffet in a unique place! In winter, you will also find a sofas corner where you can rest peacefully in front of the fireplace.
Mas Pi
At the crossroads of Verges we find this eclectic Pub Restaurant with itinerant art exhibitions, where you can sample from a daytime infusion to a cocktail at night, listening to live music. Also, if you are in the mood, you can participate in one of their JAM's, where attending musicians can play spontaneously.
L'Última Parada
This store of furniture and vintage objects in Corçà is complemented by a bar-restaurant of ecological products, a charming terrace and garden where a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere is found. An original site that will not leave you indifferent!
La Terra
This mythical bar-restaurant is located in the old town of Girona, with large windows overlooking the river. We recommend going there to have an infusion along with a carrot cake or one of its natural and healthy fruit juices! These are our favorite bars for a first date in Girona and the Costa Brava.
