Summer markets in Costa Brava to look, walk and enjoy
Do you want a perfect alternative to beaches and bars? Today we propose a route of the summer markets of Girona and the Costa Brava that we like the most. Here you will find markets for all tastes with a wide range of options. Whether you are a lover of the latest trends in fashion, food, antiques or just want to feel like a true medieval troubadour, we're sure you'll find the market for you!
1. MonEmpordà

It is an itinerant market where you can buy directly from the producer local, organic and quality products. You will also find a space for art, workshops, conferences…
- 1st Saturday of each month in Rupià
- 2nd Saturday of each month in Corçà
- 3rd Saturday of each month in La Pera / Púbol
- 4th and 5th Saturday of each month in Torroella de Montgrí
2. Santa Market in Santa Cristina d'Aro

From July 11th to August 31st, from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am, this exclusive market is celebrated inside the Horse Club, which becomes a shop-window for shopping, street food, drinks, daily concerts, DJs, workshops and family activities. Much more than a market!
3. Market Night of la Riba in L'Escala

Every Thursday night during July and August, L'Escala organises the Market Night in la Riba area. From 19:00h to 00:00h, there are about ten stalls installed by the sea where you can find accessories, proximity products, costume jewellery, fashion and very original vintage proposals.
4. L'Encant de l'Empordà in Verges

It is celebrated on the strategic esplanade of the crossroads of Verges and it is a market of brocanters, emerging and vintage art that is a must for Sundays for lovers of antique furniture, vinyl, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, clothes and accessories, handmade products, etc. A market to go and explore.
5. Market in Cadaqués

Each Monday of the year in the Riera de Sant Vicenç de Cadaqués the typical market of the town is set up where you will find everything from food, clothing, household items, hardware... Besides, on Sundays you can enjoy in front of the sea a very interesting and with exceptional views.

6. Medieval Market in Castelló d'Empúries

It is considered one of the best medieval markets in Catalonia and we have it nearby! A large number of stalls of artisans and merchants put up for sale their products of the time with the payment system of the medieval coin of the medieval city of Empúries, a mandatory requirement to be able to acquire all kinds of products from the county that are recreated . It is celebrated from September 12th to 14th.
