The first written documents of Seva are from the year 904. Agriculture is one of its main economic activities with a clear predominance of rainfed crops such as cereals or potatoes. Throughout its territory you will find signposted hiking routes for walking or cycling. On the other hand, its gastronomy is typical of Osona. We recommend you try the escudella, the pork feet or the stuffed potatoes.
In the old town of Seva you will see stone houses in the Conopial Gothic style with gabled portals. You must visit the church of Santa Maria. It is a building of Romanesque origin that has undergone several modifications throughout its history. Its 12th century Romanesque bell tower stands out. Very close you will find the Figueroles manor house. A construction that has a Romanesque chapel and that still preserves a defense tower from the 16th century.
A perfect place to spend a good time with the family is Muntanyà. It is a complex in which you will find a golf course, restaurant or equestrian facilities. In fact, in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, equestrian events were held in the venue. On the other hand, you will also find circuits such as mountain biking, archery or hiking routes.
