Navès was repopulated in 872 by Guifré el Pilós. Its castle dating from the 10th century stands out. Do not miss the Romanesque bridge of the Vall d'Ora, a bridge with two arches that still retains original parts from the 12th and 13th centuries. Popular traditions are also deeply rooted in the village. The Sana Llúcia Fair is held around Christmas. On the other hand, if you like to pick mushrooms, during the autumn you will find many specimens in its forests.

The monastery of Sant Pere de Graudescales, a unique space

One of the most important buildings in Navès is the monastery of Sant Pere de Graudescales. At first it was created to be a Benedictine house. It is an 11th century Romanesque building that was restored in the 20th century. The church has a Latin cross plan with a single nave.

Navès has a natural environment of great value. Walking through its territory you will see landscapes of great beauty. The Serra de Busa and the Capolatell, a plateau from which you can enjoy exceptional views, are a must-see. Another place worth seeing is the Aigua d'Ora river valley.
