Montclar is a small municipality in Berguedà that is located at the top of a hill. Its Holiday cottages maintain their original stone facade and are surrounded by medieval farmhouses. Tasting traditional Catalan mountain cuisine is another of the town's attractions. Book your Holiday cottages in Montclar now.

What can you do in Montclar and its Holiday cottages?

The beginnings of Montclar go back to the medieval period. One of the best known buildings is the church of Santa Creu which dates from the 10th century. Only some underground elements remain of the old castle. Another very interesting building is the Rectory. It is a building that was built in the 17th century. We recommend that you try the gastronomy of the area based on traditional Catalan dishes. You can't leave without trying the mushroom specialties and grilled meats.

Visit the Bassa

One of the most unique natural spaces in Montclar is the Bassa. It is a place where vegetation has grown which allows for a very pleasant freshness during the summer months. In the past, when it rained, the Bassa was filled with water and used to water the cattle.

Do outdoor activities

Montclar has a natural environment that invites you to go on outdoor excursions. Around the term you will find different paths that cross lush forests and that allow you to see corners of unique beauty. There are also routes you can do by mountain bike. During autumn, different species of mushrooms emerge in the area's forests, which attract numerous mushroom pickers.

One of the best rural houses we have been to

A 10 out of 10 stay at Montulliu rural house! The house is wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The experience has been simply perfect; it lacks absolutely no detail to make you feel comfortable and disconnect to the maximum. You can tell the love and care they put into everything. 100% recommendable, we will definitely return!

Ideal for a week of relaxation and disconnection

Highly recommended. The house, located in a natural and peaceful environment, is very well maintained and lacks no detail. It has everything necessary to enjoy wonderful holiday days with family and pets. The attention from Queralt and Manel is fantastic.

Spectacular house with mountain views

The house is spectacular. Ground floor with a huge and beautiful kitchen, and a living room with a sofa for everyone and games for the kids. The garden is small but very well used, with tables, sun loungers, a barbecue and an ideal pool for children, with very wide steps so that children of all ages can touch the ground. Special mention of the mountain views. The rooms on the first floor, all spacious and with their own bathroom, a luxury. The second floor, the cherry on top. Spectacular views with huge windows for a very large game room and the most VIP room of all. The owner was very attentive to make sure we were okay and didn't lack anything. We will definitely repeat.

For the enjoyment of body and mind

The Muntuliu house has everything you need to spend unforgettable days. Accommodation, environment where the mountains contrast with the green wheat fields. Walking, playing, barbecue, swimming pool and much more is what the house offers. And above all, thanks to Queralt for being such a good hostess, welcoming and saying goodbye with a smile.
