That day, a non-binding consultation was held to find out the opinion of the residents. With 80.6% of the positive votes, Moianès was finally born in May of that same year. • Torrent Mal: about 5 km from Moià is this torrent, surrounded by a legend. It says like this: two monks were walking in the forest by this stream, which offers spectacular colours. Near the river a woman was wondering where to go. One of the monks helped her cross, and on returning to the monastery the other complained to the abbot that his companion had broken the ordinances of religion by touching the woman. The Abbot decreed that Evil was still in the monk who told him the story, who was thinking of that woman.
• Font de les Tàpies: the Moianès is full of water, and proof of this is the numerous gorges and water springs that can be found. The Tàpies, in Calders, is quite magical. In a place surrounded by mosses, ferns and 40 m high trees, a 25 m waterfall feeds the fountain.
• El Molí de Brotons: also known as Molí de la Tosca because of the spring of water in the corner, it is known that it was inhabited until 1863, when a flood of water carried away a baby in its crib. However, the road from Moià offers a beautiful landscape, and the place is enchanting.

The Popa castle or Castellcir castle should be highlighted: just less than 2 km from the town where it is located, it is unique in its kind. It is a small fortification in ruins from the 10th century. What is so special about it? That is on a rock in the shape of the stern of a ship!
