What can you do in Flix and its rural houses?

Flix is a town with a long historical tradition. Strolling through its streets and seeing its monuments will allow you to take a journey through history . Being next to the Ebre river, the possibilities for river activities are numerous. You also have the option of hiking along its paths.

Visit its nature reserve

If you like birds, we recommend that you visit the Mas del Director. A space dedicated to the observation of native birds and their environment. The Reserva Natural de Fauna Salvatge  de Sebes has more than 250 hectares of water areas, forests and fluvial islands. It has a great biodiversity in terms of fauna and flora. The GR-99 Camí de l'Ebre route covers a large part of the river's route and has a section that passes through Flix.

Discover its history

Remains of ancient Iberian villages have been found in Flix. We recommend that you visit the ones you will find in la Vall de Sebes, el Castell or els Castellons. Remains of ceramics as well as tombs and other utensils have been found in all these points.

Flix received numerous air attacks during the Spanish Civil War. You can take advantage of and visit the bomb shelter that the town built and which has been converted into a museum where you can see photographs, maps and other objects related to the battle.
