The history of Cabrera de Mar dates back to the Iberian era. Remains of settlements such as the village of Burriac have been found throughout its territory. On the other hand, there are also remains from the Roman era such as the thermal baths of Ca l'Arnau.

The historical heritage of the town is very important. Walking through its streets you can see buildings such as the church of Sant Feliu, a construction that dates from the 16th century and is in the Gothic style. Another building of interest is the church of Santa Helena, which dates from the 16th century. On the outskirts of the municipality you will find farmhouses that recall the agricultural past of Cabrera de Mar. The best known are Can Fontanals or Ca n'Aimeric.

Enjoy the sea

Cabrera de Mar beach has fine sand, so you can take the opportunity to take walks along its entire coastline. In fact, you can go all the way to Vilassar de Mar, given that the beaches of both towns are connected. Visit the castle of Burriac

One of the best-known elements of Cabrera de Mar is the castle of Sant Vicenç de Burriac. Its construction dates from the 12th century and is built on top of an old Iberian building. At present, the circular tower of the tribute and a chapel dedicated to Sant Vicenç are preserved from the castle.
