Vilassar de Dalt is a town that is very well connected. Although its landscape is mountainous, its proximity to coastal towns such as Vilassar de Mar allows you to take breaks to enjoy the beach. Popular culture is also deeply rooted in the town. The Festa Major dels Sant Mártirs stands out, where many activities are organized such as bonfires, popular dances, etc.

The Castle of Vilassar de Dalt has been declared a Historical and Artistic Monument. Throughout its history it has gone through several reforms and expansions. For example, during the 15th century its facade was decorated with Gothic windows. Thanks to these restorations, today the external appearance of the castle is that of a residential palace.

Vilassar de Dalt has a very important historical heritage. At La Roca d'en Toni you can see one of the most well-known megaliths of the Maresme. Its origins are estimated to be between 2200 and 1800 BC. A few meters from the megalith you can find the remains of an old medieval necropolis. Other places you must visit are the hermitage of Sant Sebastià, the hermitage of Can Boquet or the Torre de Can Maians, a defensive construction from 1551.
