If you have already decided for one of our holiday cottage and you will finally spend the Easter holidays in Girona region, in Spain, we recommend you to see some of the processions that are celebrated in different towns and cities.

One of the best known and most multitudinous procession is the one celebrated in the town of Verges, since it is represented thought the streets of this beautiful location in L'Empordà region. During the evening, at 10, a representation of the last days of Jesus' life is performed (buying a ticket) and another performance is represented at midnight (free ticket), where the representation of the scenes of Jesus is made up to the Calvary mountain, with the famous Dance of Death of Verges, where the fire torches and the dead will dance under the dark night with a representation that if you have never seen, we highly recommend you to see! If you decide to go there, you must go in the afternoon to have the place.

We can also highlight those of the big cities, such as Figueres and Girona. These ones are more traditional, but at the same time also spectacular to see. In these dates you can find other performances and celebrations according to the town where your cottage house is located.

A very pleasant stay in this big house

A house that invites well-being with its amenities, such as: all air-conditioned rooms that are suites with bathroom and sink, immense living rooms, its swimming pool. One point to be even more perfect, is the kitchen: the indoor kitchen would deserve a dishwasher for 18 to 24 covers instead of an industrial machine that forces us to stay for 1 hour to load basket by basket cutlery. The outdoor kitchen, very nice indeed, but being 20 m from the indoor kitchen, would deserve its own dishes, a dishwasher and a large fridge. To highlight the great availability and discretion of Hernan, very green outdoor spaces and perfectly maintained, and finally a magnificent games room and its ping-pong table! We will repeat soon!

In the shadow of a beautiful linden tree

We have spent a great heat wave under wonderful trees and a charming pool. The house has personality and is very cozy, extremely comfortable. The porch, the barbecue, the garden, the suite, the kitchen, the Forn Marull, the goldfinches in the morning, the linden tree... everything invites you to stay many more days. We will return!.

Beautiful and quiet house near Barcelona

The house is very cool and we have been very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything you might need. We really enjoyed the pool area and the games room. As an improvement, I would suggest that all rooms have a fan and that at least, in the dining room next to the kitchen, there is air conditioning (we have been during a heat wave and the fans have not been enough). The owners are very attentive and pleasant.

Ideal for disconnecting with family

We have been three families with children for a week and we have been super comfortable. Spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom. Playground and space to play. The pool is fenced so it is safe. Jaume and his family are very friendly and willing to help in everything that was in their hands. From the house you can reach the beach in half an hour and Banyoles lake in 15 min. Since it is a livestock area there are many flies and mosquitoes but it is an inevitable thing and there are mosquito nets on all windows.

Beautiful house in an idyllic place with natural ponds and jumps a few meters away that transport you to distant paradises

A charming farmhouse with spacious rooms and idyllic corners. I would put more emphasis on cleanliness, would put more comfortable pillows and would change the living room sofa. It's very worn out.
