Vilanova de Bellpuig was first settled in 1079. Until 1836 it was part of the barony of Bellpuig. One of the most well-known cultural events in the municipality is the Cominart Fair, where local traders and artisans gather to show their products. Nor can you leave without tasting some of the gastronomic specialties of Vilanova de Bellpuig. Two of the most well-known dishes are snail casserole or snails in a tin.

Discover its medieval past
