Pradell de la Teixeta was under Saracen rule until the reconquest. Subsequently, it passed into the hands of the municipality of Garcia and also depended on the monastery of Escornalbou. In the center of the town there is still the fountain and the dryers that the inhabitants used to wash their clothes. One of the most emblematic buildings is the church of Santa Magdalena, a neoclassical building dating from the 18th century.

One of the most visited natural elements of Pradell de la Teixeta are its caves. One of the best known, given its large dimensions, is the Rector's cave. Other caves that you must also see are the Petitot cave, the Quimeres cave or the Arbonès cave.
