The first settlers of Nalec are from the Bronze Age, given that archaeological remains have been found in the Recots area. However, the birth of the town is linked to the construction of the castle. Walking through Nalec you can see a natural environment of great beauty. One of the most prominent places is Peixera. It is a waterfall of the Corb river that flows from a wall that is four meters high and more than forty meters wide. In fact, when it rains a lot, the area becomes a large spring. In the past, the Peixera had supplied water to the mills and meadows of Nalec.
