The first written documents that refer to Llobera are from the year 1031, precisely when the church was consecrated. Popular culture is deeply rooted in the town. Every year the Fira de l'Empelt is celebrated, an event that recalls the celebrations that took place in the 17th and 18th centuries and where artisanal products are sold
Throughout the territory of Llobera you can see several churches and hermitages that have a great heritage appeal. One of the most prominent is the parish of Sant Pere de Llobera. It is a Romanesque building dating from the 11th century. You must also see the temple of Sant Pere Mártir which houses the main altarpiece of the church of Sant Martí de Llanera. Although it is not a religious building, it is also worth visiting the Peracamps tower, a ten-metre-high construction that was the scene of battles between liberals and Carlins.
One of Llobera's best-known monuments is the Vila dolmen, also known as Torre dels Moros. It is one of the largest Neolithic constructions in Catalonia, given that it is more than ten meters long and two and a half high. On the other hand, a set of funerary objects were found in the dolmen which are exhibited in the Diocesan and County Museum of Solsona.
