What can you do in Pobla de Cérvoles and its Holiday cottages?

The repopulation of La Pobla de Cérvoles began in 1163. During a good part of its history it was under the rule of the monastery of Poblet. From the center of the town there are different paths and trails that allow you to discover places of great interest. You can visit the Sierra de la Llena from where you can enjoy magnificent views.

Discover its medieval past

Walking through Pobla de Cérvoles you can see different elements and medieval buildings. One of the best known buildings is the parish church of the Virgin of la Jonquera. It was built on top of an old Romanesque church in 1728. Inside the church there is a baroque organ that was built in 1752. The mural paintings on the high altar are also very relevant. Very close by is the hermitage of Sant Miquel, a building from 1610 that worships Sant Miquel the Archangel.

Visit the Society's mill

The oil culture is deeply rooted in Pobla de Cérvoles. The Molí de la Societat houses the Ecomuseum of Oil, a space where you can learn about the history of the olive tree as well as the process of obtaining oil. There is also a display of the presses used by the mill when it was in operation.
