The village is divided into two population centers. On one side is Jorba and on the other Sant Genís.
Walking around the town you will find a set of old farmhouses that are a clear vestige of its rural past. Some of the best known are Can Cansalada which dates back to 1012, the Can Blasi, Can Muntades or Cal Saboner farmhouses.
Jorba stands out for having a historical heritage of great relevance. One of the most famous buildings is the castle. During the Carline Wars it was demolished and currently only the remains remain. However, from its location on top of a hill, you can enjoy magnificent views. Other remarkable elements are the term cross that dates from the 17th century or the houses that were built in the 18th century. From the religious heritage it is worth seeing the church of Sant Pere which dates from the 16th century and has a Gothic style or the church of Santa Maria de la Sala which dates from the 10th century.
Jorba is a municipality that has managed to maintain its festivals and traditions. The festival of Sant Isidre stands out, an event that has a wide participation by the villagers and where different activities are organized such as dances or popular dinners, etc. The Sant Genís bestiary is also well known, which consists of a giantess, a giant, a rooster, a tadpole and a set of little devils.
