The leather industry has been one of the main economic activities in Igualada. The Museu de la Pell is a space dedicated entirely to leather. It was inaugurated in 1954 and is divided into three large areas. On the one hand you can discover what leather production has been like throughout history. On the other, there is an exhibition with monographs on the relevance of skin in sport, travel, etc. Finally, there is a section dedicated to the industrialization process.
