The first references we have of Els Guiamets come from the Muslim era. Nevertheless, after the reconquest it happened to be under the domain of Tivissa. Its main economic activity is agriculture with a clear predominance of the vine. It has numerous signposted hiking routes that will allow you to see old farmhouses and a wide variety of dry stone constructions. If you want to practice climbing, in the cliffs of the mountain you will find areas enabled for this practice.
